A detailed tutorial on the solving of Complex Numbers. Step by step tutorial including several examples of how to solve Complex Numbers for reference.

Overview

Complex numbers are designed to solve the issure of a negative number in a radical.  To do this, we’ve defined the letter i to be equal to the square root of 1.

i=\sqrt{-1}

Or

i^2=-1

We then combine these “imaginary numbers” with  other real numbers to solve equations that deal with a negative in a radical.
